Writing Ecclesiastes 5
Good morning…
“Behold, what I have seen to be good and fitting is to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all the toil with which one toils under the sun the few days of his life that God has given him, for this is his lot. Everyone also to who God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil–this is the gift of God. For he will not much remember the days of his life because God keeps him occupied with joy in his heart.”
ecclesiastes 5:18-20
I should enjoy the things I have worked for. God has blessed me with them. After all, I would not be able to do any work without the Lord. But I also must do the work.
I should also be content in the life I was given. I should be content in the abilities that I am given from the Lord, so that am able to work. As I toil and enjoy that which I have, I will have joy in my heart. As I look back at my life, I will be able to smile, because I stayed busy working and enjoying my works, through the Lord.
