Writing Acts 21
Good morning, as I write this chapter and see what Paul has to go through, it gives me strength. Here he is getting ready to go through pain and suffering and he chooses to walk right into it, with a willing heart, in the name of the Lord Jesus.
“Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be imprisoned but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”
Today my body is fighting me, I have fibromyalgia. My pain is in my hands, shoulders, and back this morning. But I pull through. I mentioned the other morning that my vision was blurred. It too is part of my illness. But these things are so little compared to what Paul had to go through, yet he was content and always continued on. He went on to Jerusalem, was beaten and arrested. In the next chapter we will see what he chooses to do with his situation. Such strength.
Please don’t feel bad for my little problems, 2 Corinthians 12:9 is a great verse to help me:
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
We all have things that will bring us down, but each day I will work with what I have and hope I can smile through it all, just as I imagined Paul did. See the good in all situations.
God is so Good!!
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
