Writing 2 Samuel 3
Good afternoon….
“There was a long war between the house of Saul and the hose of David”
2 samuel 3:1
“And all the people took notice of it, and it pleased them, as everything that the king did pleased all the people. So all the people and all Israel understood that day that it had not been the king’s will to put to death Abner the son of Ner.”
2 Samuel 3:36
As I was writing, I could see how important this event was as a king. David could have gone in and taken Israel over by force, but he did not. It would have only brought blood shed, anger, and sadness for the people. David dealt with Abner’s death with his heart and the people seen this. They seen him as a good king that day.
