Writing 2 Kings 2
Good morning…
“Then Elijah took his cloak and rolled it up and struck the water, and the water was parted to the one side and to the other, till the two of them could go over on dry ground.”
2 kings 2:8
“And when he had struck the water, the water was parted to the one side and to the other, and Elisha went over.”
2 kings 2:14
So often we think about Moses parting the waters and the people crossing the Red Sea, but we forget about the ohter instances. We have the time of Joshua when the people went into the promised land with the Ark of the Covenant in Joshua chapters 3 and 4, and here in chapter 2 we see both Elijah and Elisha crossing the Jordan on dry ground.
God can make some amazing things happen. I need to trust that He can.
