Writing 2 Corinthians 5

Good morning, what a beautiful chapter. I think I will focus on the first part of the chapter and hope that you will take the time to read the rest of the chapter on your own.

“For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, if indeed by putting it on we may not be found naked. For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened— not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.”

I surely can groan in this tent of mine. My earthly body is a tricky body that likes to pull me down at times if I would let it. My poor hubby hears about it more than others, as I fight through pain some days. We all have battles in this world that we carry. They are different for each of us. What might be hard for one may not be hard for another. This earth is not meant to be a paradise.

One day, I will have a new body, without aches and pains, without sorry, without the worries of this world. In the meantime, I am here, with those around me. Hoping they make it to the Lord, so that they can have a new body in Christ too.

God is so Good!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
