Writing 2 Corinthians 12
Good morning, Paul has a good lesson for me today, he writes:
“So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
I think we all have weaknesses, just as Paul did. These verses give me a better outlook on my weaknesses. When my body is weak I need to remember to focus on my spiritual life. Then I can be strong. There are days that I cannot do anything about this physical broken body but I can always be thankful for it. My body gives me a different outlook to things. It reminds me of this physical world, it reminds me that there is a better eternal life with the Lord. I can keep working to make my soul better. Though my body is weak, my soul can be strong.
I sure hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
