Writing 1Timothy 3
Good morning. Timothy is getting a lot of advice in this little letter. Advice for himself and advice for others who are around him. Good advice for all Christians. Good advice for me.
Paul says:
“I am writing these things to you so that , if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God”
Paul if very clear why he is writing to Timothy.
Paul also slips in the ‘Mystery of godliness’:
“He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by the angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.“
This mystery of godliness, is Christ Jesus. He whom we are to be imitators of.
