Writing 1 Corinthians 7
Good morning, in this chapter Paul was writing back about some concerns they had had. Paul said, “In whatever condition each was called, there let him remain with God.” Whether married, engaged, unmarried, a servant, a free man, etc. Where ever we are we can live with contentment with God.
He also points out that our focus will be different depending on where we are in our lives as Christians. A single Christian should be focused on God. Where a married Christian can’t help but be focused on their spouse and supporting them in this world. Neither is wrong. We are just in different places. Those who work will have a different focus on those who are devoted to the church. Neither are wrong. All can be done in Godly ways.
Just remember, “In whatever condition each was called, there let him remain with God.”
