Matthew 1-5
Good morning, reading Matthew chapters 1-5 today. Back to the new testament. It has been a while. I don’t mind having a break from the old testament. There is so much in the first 5 chapters of Matthew, it is hard to decide what to mention.
I will start with chapter 4 verse 16. This verse humbles me a bit because it made me think of when I was living in darkness, before I became a child of God. Then seeing a great light. Seeing the truth, seeing salvation. Such a beautiful thing.
Then I get to chapter 5, so many things to look at and to examine myself with, the growth I see, and the growth that still needs to come. I hope to continue to grow till that day when I get to see Jesus.
