Ezra 6 and 7
Good morning, reading Ezra only 2 chapters this morning, 6 and 7. I have an appointment this morning and I didn’t regulate my time well enough. The people finished the temple and dedicated the house of God with joy. I imagine they all stood back at some point and smiled as they took it all in. The destruction, the sin, the captivity, the release, and now the beginning of being God’s people again. Doing this according to His words written in the book of Moses.
Sometimes I like to look at the whole picture: where I was, what happened, where I went, and where I ended up. It is humbling to see where I could have been without Him.
