Writing 1 Corinthians 3
Good morning. Paul is still trying to unite those he is writing to. In verse 3 he says something that makes me stop and think.
“For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in human way?”
As a Christian, I should become more Christ-like. But I need to grow to get there. I started out in the world and acted like the world. Then a seed was planted, it was watered and nurtured and I grew as a Christian. I am still growing.
We are all on different places in our spiritual lives. We have ups and downs. We have different strengths and weaknesses. It takes us all combined to do the will of the Father.
‘Oh Lord, let me behave more like Christ and less like a human.’ 🙂
