Writing Acts 6
Good morning, Acts 6, a little chapter. In this chapter, we begin to hear about Stephen, how he was seized, and brought before the people. They begin to lie to turn the people against him. Verse 15 caught my attention:
“And gazing at him, all who sat in the council saw that his face was like the face of an angel.”
So many different thoughts went into my head. The face of and angel.. I think about the white glowing look that we have seen so many times on tv shows… I think of innocence.. I think of humility… I think of submissiveness… So many of these thoughts are brought into my mind because of what I have seen and learned as I have lived. I am looking forward to writing the next chapter to see what the face of an angel does. Maybe it will give me some insight of what it looks like instead of what I made up in my mind. I have a feeling it is more like Christ rather than a glowing white creature with wings. What ever it was, the council took notice of it.
