Writing Acts 3
Good morning, today’s writing is Acts chapter 3. As I was sitting in bible class last night, the teacher brought up scripture in this chapter. It made me smile to know that this was the chapter I was going to be working on today. In this chapter we see a lame beggar healed by Peter, I love how Peter holds out his hand to raise the beggar up. I remembered how Jesus did this. Peter was following Jesus’ ways. Such a gentle gesture.
As people began to notice and crowd around Peter and John, Peter took the time to get their attention and teach them. Another way that he followed in Jesus’ footsteps.
One part that caught my attention the most was in verse 25: ‘And in your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.’ I do enjoy it when I see the bible talk about me, little o’ me. Yes, we are blessed through Jesus our Lord. This means you too.
