Writing Luke 1 (3/8/2023)
Good morning, I have officially started Luke. I wasn’t sure if I would get through this whole chapter today because it is 80 verses long. But as I was writing, it went along so smoothly that it was easy to just keep writing. It also helped that I had time this morning so I could just loose myself in my writing.
This chapter has so much in it that I struggled a bit about what to write about. For those who are interested, both of the descriptions that the angel gives about John and Jesus to their parents are a great read. I could not imagine as a parent, an angel telling me these things about the child that is yet to come.
What I decided to bring out was the verses that Mary said after she seen Elizabeth, verses 46-55. These verses remind me of David’s writing in psalms, my second favorite book. I love the humble praising that she gives the Lord. I love to be reminded about how great God the Father is, and even though I am little, He remembers me. It is so great to be a child of God.
