Writing 2 Kings 1
Good afternoon…
“and said to him, “Thus says the Lord, ‘Because you have sent messengers to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron– is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of his word?– therefore you shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.'”
2 kings 1:16
There are times in the Bible that punishments seem harsh, and other times that we don’t see punishments given when we think they should be. But the Lord knows what we need and when we need it. He works in ways that I will never understand. Sometimes we will be punished here on earth, and sometimes punishment will be held off till after we leave this earth. Either way we will be punished. Unless, we turn to the Lord and receive forgiveness for our sins. Thank you God for sending your Son Jesus!!
