Writing 1 Kings 8:22-43
Good morning….
“whatever prayer, whatever plea is made by any man or by all your people Israel, each knowing the affliction of his own heart and stretching out his hands toward this house, then hear in heaven your dwelling place and forgive and act and render to each whose heart you know according to all his ways (for you , you only, know the hearts of all the children of mankind)”
1 kings 8:38-39
As Solomon prays, he not only prays for his people but he also prays for the foreigners too. I can’t help but catch these verses and be reminded that God knows our hearts. He knows everyone’s heart, all the children of mankind. That can be comforting and scary. But notice Solomon asking that God ‘forgive and render to each whose heart you know’. God knows if we are sincere in our prayers to Him and He will forgive us. God is so Good!!
