Writing 2 Samuel
Good afternoon…
“And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah.”
2 samuel 2:4
“Bur Abner the son of Ner, commander of Saul’s army, took Ish-bosheth the son of Saul and brought him over to Mahanaim, and he made him king over Gilead and the Ashurites and Jezreel and Ephraim and Benjamin and all Israel.”
2 Samuel 2:8
So, even after the death of Saul, there isn’t peace. The people were still divided. I have always thought of David as the 2nd king but I guess I have to say, he was one of the 2nd kings. It is interesting how I am always fixing the things in my brain. Just another day of letting the Bible fix the details that I have missed.
