Writing Numbers 33 and 34
Good evening…
“These are the stages of the people of Israel, when they went out of the land of Egypt by their companies under the leadership of Moses and Aaron. Moses wrote down their starting places, stage by stage, by command of the Lord, and these are their stages according to their starting places.”
Numbers 33:1-2
In simply terms, this chapter runs through all the places the Israelites made camp as they traveled through the wilderness for forty years. If I count correctly, they stopped at 41 different places. That isn’t too bad considering it was over 40 years. I don’t remember if the first year or so was included in the 40 years. I would have to look in to it further to figure that out.
Could I move that often? These days, I have accumulated so much stuff that I wouldn’t want to. But if I was moving around that much, I know I would only keep the necessities. :))
