Writing Leviticus 19

Good morning…

“When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.”

leviticus 19:33-34

“When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field right up to its edge, neither shall you gather the gleanings after your harvest. And you shall not strip your vineyard bare, neither shall you gather the fallen grapes of your vineyard. You shall leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am the Lord your God.”

leviticus 19:9-10

As I read this chapter, I see that the Lord was trying to get His people to use their heart while dealing with His people and also while dealing with the people who dwelt among them. They were to love them, treat them justly, and treat them as they would treat themselves. This is the same expectation He has for us today. We are to love each other as we love ourselves. All of the people of this world are from Him. I need to keep this in mind as I go through the days.

God is so Good!!

Try to read a few verses today!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day today!!
