Writing Exodus 36
Good evening…
“They still kept bringing him freewill offerings every morning, so that all the craftsmen who were doing every sort of task on the sanctuary came, each from the task that he was doing, and said to Moses, “The people bring much more than enough for doing the work that the Lord has commanded us to do.” So Moses gave command, and word was proclaimed throughout the camp, “let no man or woman do anything more for the contribution for the sanctuary.” So the people were restrained from bringing, for the material they had was sufficient to do all the work, and more.”
exodus 36:3-7
If you have ever seen giving in abundance then you know what a blessing it is.
In our area, we had flooding come through and transform land and homes beyond belief. It was a blessing to see the community reach out to help homeowners take their homes down to the studs because everything in the homes was ruined with water and muck. There were places that had so many helpers, that homes were taken down to the studs in just a day or two. People were bringing entire meals, so much that you had a choice of what to eat. There were organizations that offered water, food, clothing, generators, and so much more. I seen one person asking if a generator or fans were needed and they were turned away because they already had plenty. It was amazing to see how much was given, not only material stuff, but so many people offered their time and all the energy that they had. So much that some had to be turned away.
It was amazing.
