Writing Exodus 7
Good morning…
“And the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron shall be your prophet. You shall speak all that I command you, and your brother Aaron shall tell Pharaoh to let the people of Israel go out of his land. “
exodus 7:1-2
“The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “When Pharaoh says to you, ‘Prove yourselves by working a miracle,’ then you shall say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and cast it down before Pharaoh, that it may become a serpent.'” So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the Lord commanded. Aaron cast down his staff before Pharaoh and his servants, and it became a serpent.”
exodus 7:8-9
I love reading the Bible, some days it really challenges me. Today is one of those days. As I was writing, I was reminded on my minds confusion on what really happened in this time of history. My mind is clouded by stories. Probably from movies or cartoons that I seen in the past. Maybe even Bible stories people told me instead of what is actually written in the Bible. In my mind, Aaron is almost completely blocked out. When I read what the Bible says, I am reminded of how much of a role he played in helping Moses and following the Lords commands. I am not sure why my mind continues to block Aaron out even though I have read the Bible lots of times. It is funny how much control our past memories have on us. I guess I will keep reading the Bible and hopefully, the truth will continue to grow in my mind and it will be clearer than stories or cartoons I seen years ago.
Try to read a few verses from the Bible today!!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day today!!
