Writing Genesis 7
Afternoon, I know today is Sunday and I normally don’t do my writing on Sunday, but with our new schedule, it might be easier to write on Sunday than it is on Friday. Hopefully I will get a regular schedule soon. In the meantime, here I am on Sunday.
“The flood continued forty days on the earth. The waters increased and bore up the ark, and it rose high above the earth. The waters prevailed and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the face of the waters. And the waters prevailed so mightily on the earth that all the high mountains under the whole heaven were covered. The waters prevailed above the mountains, covering them fifteen cubits deep.”
genesis 7:17-20
Now, this was a lot of water. So, if you had any question at all, if a person could survive on the top of a mountain, this makes that clear. If you were not on the ark, you did not survive. 🙁 It is hard for me to understand all of this. But it isn’t my job to understand it all. It is my job to know that it happened.
I am so thankful that he kept a handful alive so that we could be here today.
