Writing Genesis 3
Good morning…
“And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?” And he said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.”
genesis 3:8-10
“I was afraid”. This was the first time that fear is recorded. This strong emotion controls so much that we do and don’t do. Here we see that it caused Adam to hide from God. Fear can also cause me to hide from God. If I practice hiding from God everyday, then I will never find Him in the places that I am hiding. I have to come out from those hiding places to see Him again. But the good thing is that He is still there, waiting for me to come out of hiding.
When they came out of hiding He clothed Adam and Eve in animal skins. If I come out of hiding He will clothe me in clean, white garments. All I have to do is come out of hiding, and follow His command to be washed clean.
God is so Good!!
