Writing Proverbs 7
Good morning… As I was writing this chapter, I see Solomon warning his sons about the adulterous woman again. This must have been a strong subject for him. It makes me wonder if it had to do with his parents, his own experiences, or experiences he see others suffer through. I still believe it is one of the hardest temptations we have.
As I went through I decided to focus on the last verses:
“Let not your heart turn aside to her ways; do not stray into her paths,
proverbs 7:25-27
for many a victim has she laid low and all her slain are a mighty throng.
Her house is the way to Sheol, going down to the chambers of death.”
The reason I chose these verses is because I can take this warning in 2 ways. I can be warned not to fall for the temptation and I can be warned not to turn in to the temper. Either way they both end the same. The bible is great at teaching me, if I will listen.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
