Writing Psalm 79 and 80
Good morning… Vines.. As many of us know, if there is but a small remnant of a vine left it will grow. I have tried to remove several vines from my yard including poison ivy, grapevine, creeper, morning glory, and honey suckle. I have not been successful. Each year it returns again.
“You brought a vine out of Egypt; you drove out the nations and planted it. You cleared the ground for it; it took deep root and filled the land.”
Psalm 80:8-9
God planted a vine of His people on this earth and through the years a remnant has remained. Through that remnant the Son of God was born.
“I am the vine; you are the branches.”
John 15:5
Jesus is the true vine. Let us come to him. Many may come and try to pull and destroy the vine out but they will not succeed.
