Writing Psalm 78

Good morning… A long Psalm, 72 verses. In this Psalm we see the details of the history of God bringing the people out of Egypt. We see what God did and their response afterwards. Over and over His people turned away from Him even though He saved them, and provided for them.

“Yet he, being compassionate, atoned for their iniquity and did not destroy them; he restrained his anger often and did not stir up all his wrath. He remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passes and comes not again. How often they rebelled against him in the wilderness and grieved him in the desert! They tested God again and again and provoked the Holy One of Israel.”

Psalm 78: 38-41

Reading through this Psalm reminds me what He has done for us, even though we are ‘but flesh’. He sent to us a way, since we are so weak, so that we can have salvation. He sent His Son for all of us, so that we can be saved. He sent His Son to atone for our sins, because we are ‘but flesh’. God is so Good!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
