Writing Psalms 52-54
Good morning…. In Psalm 52 these verses speak about Saul, a man, a king who once followed God.
“Why do you boast of evil, O mighty man?
psalm 52:1-4
The steadfast love of God endures all the day.
Your tongue plots destruction, like a sharp razor, you worker of deceit.
You love evil more than good, and lying more than speaking what is right.
Selah
You love all words that devour, O deceitful tongue.”
How did Saul get to this point? One little sin at a time. Then his heart became hard, and he could no longer see God. It is sad that this can happen to any of us as we go through this life. I have to keep God in my sight so that I don’t harden my heart.
