Writing Psalm 42-43
Good morning…. I have to start off by saying, it is nice to be in my comfy cozy home this morning. I missed a couple of days as I was traveling both Wednesday and Thursday, but it is nice to be back home and back in God’s Word.
“Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me?
Psalm 43:5
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.”
As I was writing these 2 Psalms I noticed that David seemed down and a bit questioning… Then I get to the last verse of 43 and it made me smile. I can see David talking to himself, reminding himself. He knows he is feeling down, and that is ok. There are moments that I can feel down and loose focus and that is when I need to remind myself to ‘Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.’
God is so Good!!
