Writing Job 20
Good almost afternoon. I am a bit slow today..
We are back to Zophar the Naamathite.
“Therefore my thoughts answer me, because of my haste within me. I hear censure that insults me, and out of my understanding a spirit answers me.”
Job 20:2-3
Zophar is bubbling over and cannot stand quiet anymore because he feels insulted by Jobs comments. He has to respond so he uses ‘his understanding’ to answer Job.
So many times, my understanding is what gets me in trouble. My understanding can be based on experience, feelings, something I have been told. Most of the time it is not from knowledge and truth. I am so thankful for the Bible that is given so that my understanding can be better.
