Writing Job 5
Good evening. I won’t be able to write in the morning so I decided to do my writing tonight instead.
As I begin chapter 5, the second part of Eliphaz’s answer to Job, the first verse gets my attention.
“Call now; is there anyone who will answer you? To which of the holy ones will you turn?”
Job 5:1
This is a question that I can ask myself. When I call out who will I turn to and who will answer me? When I am in a time of despair and in need, do I call out? In the past I have called out to God the Father and He has answered me. There have also been times that I tried to handle things on my own and eventually, I had to call on the Father to help me. I hope in the future I will turn to Him first. He is there. He can heal me. He can guide me.
