Writing 1 Peter 4
Good morning. I like to be reminded of the characteristics that I should take on as a Christian. It helps me to take a closer look at what God wants from me. Here are a few:
“Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another”
1 peter 8-10
These verses, like many others, help me to look at myself and to keep moving forward. Someday, maybe I can be described as one who loves earnestly, and one who was so hospitable, and she never grumbled about it.. I can dream, can’t I? All teasing aside. These are things that as a Christian, I should desire, so that I can be more Christ-like. Some days I do better, some days not so well. But I will keep moving forward.
