Writing 1 Timothy 4
Good morning. There is so much good advice in this letter for Timothy and for me. I love verse 12:
“but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”
This is definitely some advice I can always take and work on. As I go through each day, I hope that I can grow just a little bit. Even if I cannot see the growth, maybe it is there. My hope is that I don’t stop growing spiritually and just sit and wither. Hopefully the words at the end of the chapter can be true of me:
“Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.”
That is the goal, that we can be saved and all go to heaven.
