2 Samuel 7
Good morning…
“And I will give you rest from all your enemies.”
2 samuel 7:11
As I read this sentence, I am reminded of the verse In Matthew:
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30
It is so comforting to know that I can lighten up my burdens of this earth by trusting in the Lord, and learning from the Lord. It is in Him, I can find rest for my soul.
