Writing Romans 15
Good morning, this chapter starts off with a very hard lesson.
“We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failing of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. For Christ did not please himself, but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.”
“May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
This is a lesson I had to learn in my marriage. I need to use it more often with others around me. I have to remind myself often that ‘it isn’t all about me’. I live in a world that teaches that as long as I am happy it’s ok. But I have found that doing for others, loving others, loving God, gives me contentment and happiness. Happiness in the hope that those around me can make it to heaven.
God is so Good!!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
