Writing Acts 4
Good morning. In this chapter, we see the rulers going after Peter and John because they had healed the beggar in the previous chapter. In turn, they do not keep silent but they speak boldly. “let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—- by him this man is standing before you well.” I can only hope I would be so bold if I ended up in front of rulers, having to stand up for my faith. But why would I need to be so bold? Verse 12 tells us: “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” One might think by being quiet the rulers will save them, but Jesus is the only one who can save us. Let me never be afraid to boldly share Jesus.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday and weekend!!
