Writing John 11
Good morning. The beautiful verses of when Lazarus dies. That sentence sounds so odd. The beautiful verses of someone’s death. This chapter shows so much love. The love Martha, Mary, and Lazarus had for each other. The love they had for Jesus. The love Jesus had for them. And also, the love that Jesus has for us. A beautiful chapter.
We can see their love through the tears and emotions in each of them. Emotions have always been a difficult thing for me. But some close to me, emotions are so hard for them to hold back. We are all made a little different. But we all have them, they just appear in different ways. Sometimes we have to look a little harder to see, but they are there.
In death, it is hard to hide emotions. In the last section of this chapter, we see a foretelling of Jesus’ death. The ultimate sacrifice for the sins of the world. We see Jesus’ love for us.
