Writing John 3

Good morning, I had so many thoughts to share as I was writing this chapter. As I went through each section, I was excited about the thoughts that it stirred in me. Oh, how I love how the Word of God gets my mind going.

In verse 16 we see the verse that many have memorized, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” But the rest of the verses below it are so important and sad and scary. In 18, “but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” And also the next couple of parts of 19 and 20, “and the people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.” Such hard verses. Such hard things to tell each other. It is better for me to let the book speak for itself.

What hope do we have in this world? This chapter is a great chapter so that we can see the hope we have I love how this chapter ends: “The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life: whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.” Our hope is in believing in Jesus.

God is so Good!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day today!!
