Beginning fall today
So, I try to make fall as happy as I can for myself. Fall is a time of the year that I can put up anything and get away with it.
For the last several years, ‘Man’ has been included in my fall decor. Oh the stories about man through the years. Poor man has even had to have plastic surgery. He has changed quite a bit since he first appeared. Man has a reputation of sitting in my carport each fall and never lifts a finger. It doesn’t matter how hard I am working or carrying in groceries, he just sits there. Then he brought ‘Woman’ with him last year, she tried to get him to do a few things but he refused, he continued to sit and be lazy. I thought for sure she wouldn’t return this year after his laziness last year, but she did and now they brought a kid. That is right, now there is Man, Woman, and now Leroy. Oh, don’t forget their dog. I think it is a dog.. I think they are gonna have to start paying rent.
There is another guy that has been enjoying himself too today as I was sweeping the carport. I think he will be moving around a bit this fall. Especially during “Doll in the Hall” in October. Creepy sometimes.
If I come across some of the old stories about ‘Man’ and his adventures I will be sure to add them. We have really had fun with him over the years.
Sometimes holiday times can be difficult. Keep things around you that make you smile, no matter what the neighbors may think.
