Writing Mark 11 (2/27/2023)
Good morning. It is interesting how sometimes my daily scripture reading coincides with things in my life. I had just had a conversation with my hubby about praying. Praying about something in particular and also about my weaknesses during prayer. I am better at just random words to God than I am at focused prayer. I also struggle with asking for personal things from Him.
In verses 24-26, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive your trespasses.”
This was a lesson He was trying to teach His disciples. A lesson I can use for myself. I need to pray more, not be afraid to pray, have more faith that my prayers will be answered, and always forgive.
He may not give me the answer that I was asking for. But I still need to have enough faith to pray.
