Writing Mark 10 (2/24/2023)
Good morning. We are just days from the end of February, our temps have been too warm into the 70’s. Well, too warm for February 🙂
I had a hard decision on what to write about. I decided to go with persistence. Right at the end of the chapter we have Bartimaeus, the blind beggar. He heard Jesus was coming through and wanted to get His attention, so he began to call out for Jesus. Loud enough to aggrivate those who were around him. He didn’t care that they were telling him to be quiet. He was determined to get the attention of Jesus as He passed. And his persistence paid off. Jesus heard him and his blindness was healed.
My lesson, I need to be louder and more persistent in my prayers. I know He hears me. I know He knows what is best for me. I know He loves me. He loves you too. Let’s talk to Him more.
