Writing 2 Kings 24 and 25 and 1 Chronicles 1 and 2
Good Afternoon…. I had actually finished two of these chapters on Friday but I didn’t get a chance to post them. So here I am today posting last weeks and todays.
“And in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came with all his army against Jerusalem and laid siege to it. And they built siegeworks all around it. So the city was besieged till the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.
2 kings 25:1-2
As I see the people of Judah go into captivity I remember the warnings. Sadly, I am guilty of hearing warnings and disregarding them. Not taking them serious enough, maybe there will be more time, maybe it isn’t a real warning. I am afraid that because I am warned so much about things, that it is hard to take warnings serious. I need to remember that the warnings that the Lord gives us are not like the warning in this world.
