Writing Mark 5 (2/16/2023)
Good morning. I am moving around a bit earlier than usual today in order to get things done today. As I sit here and listen to my relaxing music and write Mark chapter 5, everything is calm, quiet, and slow. But it was just the opposite for Jesus and his disciples. They were followed everywhere they went. Crowds yelling, from those who liked him and from those who did not. I like my quiet times, we see at times Jesus did too. But He was so focused on doing God’s will that the crowds were inevitable. Who really expected these people to be quiet after their lives were changed so much. I guess that is why I do this each day. I don’t need to be quiet after Jesus did so much for me.
