Writing 1 Samuel 16
Good morning…
“And he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy and had beautiful eyes and was handsome.”
1 samuel 16:12
“One of the young men answered, “Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is a skillful in playing, a man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a man of good presence, and the Lord is with him.”

“For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

As I was reading this chapter, the chapter that David is introduced, I begin to see the man that David was. It is important for me to remember what the Bible says about individuals, instead of what I have come to believe in this world of tv shows and even Bible classes. I have to always remember to compare my thoughts with the Word of God. 🙂
