Writing 1 Samuel 9
“Now the donkey of Kish, Saul’s father, were lost. So Kish said to Saul his son, “Take one of the young men with you, and arise, go and look for the donkeys.”
1 Samuel 9:3
This verse reminds me of the parable of the lost sheep.
“”What man of you having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it?
Luke 15:4
As a sinner my Lord doesn’t stop looking for me to come back to him, and what does He do when I do?
“”Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.”
Luke 15:7
Oh, how I need repentance…
