Writing Matthew 26 (2/7/2023)

Good morning, chapter 26 is a long chapter. I have a headache with a bit of blurred vision but with a few breaks I was able to finish it. It is a sad chapter. I have to say that I think writing it was a bit harder emotionally than reading it. Maybe it was because writing it slows me down. The words sink it a bit more. This is good for me.

As Jesus went to pray, sadly no one grieved with him. Their own physical body held priority as they drifted to sleep each time. The words Jesus said struck me today, “Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation.” Yesterday, I talked about being prepared and aware, looking forward to heaven. These words that Jesus says goes along with that. I need to be watchful and pray otherwise temptation comes and guides me on another path. This path has so many exit ramps. But I have to stay on the path and not get distracted by the exit ramps.

This chapter is sad but I am glad it is here so that I can see what He went through for me and you.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
