Writing Joshua 5
Good morning…
“As soon as all the kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan to the west, and all the kings of the Canaanites who were by the sea, heard that the Lord had dried up the waters of the Jordan for the people of Israel until they had crossed over, their hearts melted and there was no longer any spirit in them because of the the people of Israel.”
josua 5:1
The people of the land were affected to the heart by the things they heard and seen. Their hearts melted. I cannot even imagine the awe they must have felt, the fear, the anxiety. ‘Melted’ a word we wouldn’t normally use to describe the heart. So many feelings they must have had as the Israelites approached their lands with God leading them.
