Writing Matthew 19:16-30 and 20 (1/27/2023)
Good morning, a chilly morning at 32 degrees. I was able to finish the chapter I started yesterday and then do a full chapter today. Even though I have no set limits, I like the idea of doing one chapter a day.
As I got to the end of chapter 20, I seen the blind men crying out after Jesus. Apparently, they were doing it quite loudly and enough to make those around them upset. I find it interesting that the Lord asks them what they want from Him. I imagine he already knew what they wanted. But he wanted them to ask. Just like He wants me to ask. It is hard for me to ask for things at times. I am not sure why. Maybe it is a learned behavior, maybe it is a personality thing. I need to learn to ask the Lord for things, but always know that His will be done.
