Writing Leviticus 13
Good evening…
“The leprous person who has the disease shall wear torn clothes and let the hair of his head hang loose, and he shall cover his upper lip and cry out, ‘Unclean, unclean.’ He shall remain unclean as long as he has the disease. He is unclean. He shall live alone. His dwelling shall be outside the camp.”
Leviticus 13:45-46
Wow, I could not imagine how it must have felt for those who had this disease. To be set apart from your family and friends. It must have been so lonely and so humiliating. I am thankful that we don’t have to worry about this today. Even if I do get Leprosy, we have medicine that will cure it and I don’t have to worry about getting anyone else sick. Now if I got leprosy, I can continue to stay with my family and worship God with them. No more separation.
It really is interesting to read history.
Try to read a few verses from the Bible!!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day today!!
