Writing Leviticus 11 and 12
Good evening…
“And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying to them, “Speak to the people of Israel, saying, These are the living things that you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth.”
Leviticus 11:1-2
The Lord was very specific about what they could eat and what they could touch. As a person that has to watch what I eat or I will suffer from it physically, I can understand how devoted an individual has to be in order to stay on a specific diet. So, as I read what they were able to eat and what they could not eat, I have sympathy. For me I suffer pain. For them, they were not able to worship their God, or be around anything holy.
I have to admit I find it interesting. I cannot help but make lists, and do a bit of research, as I go through these verses.
Try to read a few verses from the Bible today!!
