Writing Leviticus 4 and 5

Good afternoon…

“So the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin, and he shall be forgiven.”

Leviticus 4:26

It is good for me to look up words that we don’t use in our everyday language. Today my word was:

Atonement: (n.) 1. compensation for a wrong; expiation; satisfaction; 2. the act of atoning for sin or wrongdoing (especially appeasing a deity); expiation; propitiation;

In this definition I see the word propitiation, I remember this word in the New Testament.

“He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.”

1 John 2:2

In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

1 John 4:10

I am so thankful that we have Jesus!!

Try to read a few verses from the Bible today!!

I Hope everyone is having a wonderful day today!!
